Is this condition with you for the rest of your life? I have had it for about 8 weeks now and the pain comes and goes. is there anything that i can take to ease the pain.

No, not for life. Rest and pain killers for a while. May be physio and sometimes steroid injection to your elbow.

my dad had the same thing- he tried to use his arm as little as possible for a while (maybe 3 or 4 months) with definitely NO tennis and it eventually went away.

pain due to lateral epicondylitis in elbow.pain killers plaster and in sever cases steroids locally.

Ask for a cortisone injection in it. That will help.

my mum had a coedine injection from her G.P. and now she's fine
