Christians out there. In fact, Jesus had a name for all those well-to-do white guys in business suits who run around condemning homosexuals and bisexuals and anyone who doesn't look and think like them. Our conservative religious leaders are the "whited sepulchers" of our time, right? I'm not sure what to call their followers, other than ignorant, stupid sheep.

How exactly do you justify grouping Foley and Dobson together? A disgraced conservative politician and an upstanding Christian leader. That is blatantly disingenuous. You're either being lazy using cheap broad-brush strokes to try and taint someone you don't like or you're being purposefully misleading. Next time you try to start a debate try posing an honest question. There's plenty of things to debate among the issues you are cynically trying to slap together.

Those well-to-do white guys in business suits are not condemning homosexuals etc., God is, they are just passing the word. They did not created the rules, the creator did. Am I a sheep? I hope so, but I made an educated decision to follow Jesus, not a gut feeling "I feel like it" sort of thing since I am too analytical to accept anyone's word. Eternity is a long time and I am sure I do not want to spend it in hell.

I would agree with labeling wolves in sheep's clothing (pedophiles, abusers, criminals, false prophets, etc.), but it is dangerous when you apply your judgment to a person solely because of their political affiliations. Ted Kennedy, Gary Condit and Bill Clinton (and his husband, Hillary) are about as evil as people come. I also think Foley is a pedophile who should be strung by his nuts. His whole "I'm a gay man" makes me sick. "Gay" doesn't make one a sexual predator. I think politicians, for the most part, are an amoral personality type, same as celebrities and TV Evangelists. They're narcissistic, self-righteous attention-whores.

Now, I think you are stupid-but you are not Catholic?
There are many conserative religious leaders in the USA that are rightous people (even some Catholics). There are fakes and frauds, and some criminals in all groups. We need to deal with the wrong doers, and not pronounce guilt on everyone nearby. If we do that-then that makes you just as guilty as the worst.

We are not to judge others, but are you saying that Jesus would approve of homosexuality, or bisexuality?

He would still love the sinner, but hate the sin.

As should we.

Peace!
