Ignorance, inconsideracy, and disrespect for others.

I first experienced this on the way home (on the subway) after a evening out with my husband in NYC a couple weeks ago. It was like 10:30 at night and a bunch of teenagers were in the middle of the train car with their cell phones, playing these annoying rap songs the whole ride back to Jersey. I couldn't believe it - I actually turned to my husband and said, "What - they could afford a cell phone with an mp3 player but couldn't afford to spare a few extra bucks for some headphones?"
It was ridiculous! The rest of the train does NOT want to listen to your blaring (and tinny sounding, I might add) rap songs, ESPECIALLY at 10:30 at night! Most of us are trying to catch a little catnap in before we have to get down at our stops.

Very annoying, and EXTREMELY rude.

I think these people dont care about others. It could also be that they want to impress you with their phones or their taste of music is crying to be shared. Nah!!! I think they do this because they are just 'ignorant'

Same reason they turn the volume up in their cars, and go down the street rattling every window in the neighborhood. It is a attention getter, and it gives them the power to disrupt lives. "Look at me, I'm bad" is what it is saying.
