What would he tell people to explain this incredible mysterious thing?

How would our history have changed if more bronze age primitive men dug and found dinosaur bones and actually figured out what they were looking at?

In the Bible, in the book of Job, chapter 40, verses 15-24, God describes to Job (who lived after the Flood) a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called "behemoth," is described as "the chief of the ways of God," perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree. Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees.

He would have quoted Job 40:15-24 where dinosaurs were described in detail. He would have explained how they fit into the grand scheme of things to his comtemporary man because he was there when dinosaurs were created. He also would have explained that dinosaurs WERE mentioned in the old testament, which by the way was written long before 1841 when the word dinosaur was coined.

What an interesting question! I never thought of exactly that. But I wonder what Jesus`s relationship to allot of things that are modern would be. One thing to be certain is that Jesus had `faith`. He was born as a member of the Jewish religion of the time. He was self aware He was the fulfillment of Jewish prophecy for a Messiah. So Jesus was a man/God of `faith`. Personally He very much emphasized the importance of the `faith` element of mind/heart, anyone will find this in reading the Gospels. Hence finding dinosaur bones would not upset His `faith`. Jesus said with God all things are possible. When did the word Dinosaur originate? Perhaps they would have called them bones, of Serpents or Dragons. There are some prophetic references to these great creatures in the Bible. Jesus asked when I return will I find any FAITH on earth? And the Bible says without FAITH it is impossible to please the God for whom all things are possible. Jesus said BELIEVE on me. He said to the busy detailed sister Martha (who wanted to control everything in her house when Jesus visited and tried to draw Jesus`s attention to many things that she wanted Mary to attend to for Jesus sake), your sister Mary who is only sitting long at my feet and listening to Me while I am in your house has chosen`the good part` and it will NOT be taken from her.

He would have settled the question of evolution, but that was never presented to Him. Creation is made by the hands of God, and being such, He would have identified what the bones where to, when they and why they were extinct as a story that all things that have a beginning have an end.
But his purpose on earth was salvific and not as a paleontologist, so I truly believe He would not have addressed it at all since it has nothing to do with salvation.
God bless always, continue to search for the truth.

He would have thought that those were the bones of Moses. People who follow the Bible blindly think there were very tall people who lived hundreds of years. And Jesus didn't appear to have been so much of a skeptic.
