it can't tell you how much weight you've lost because that depends on your calorie deficit or surplus for the day. Once you have noted down the amount of calories you have estimated you burned, you need to add it to your BMR (the amount of calories you burn at rest). just google calculate BMR and you will find calculators. You then need to work our how many calories you consumed for the day. If you ate more calories than you burned (including exercise and BMR) you will not lose weight. You need to eat less or exercise more so that there is a calorie deficit. 1 gram of fat has around 9 calories. Therefore, you will lose 1gram of fat for every 9 calories your are in deficit. So, to lose 1kg per week you would need a calorie deficit of approximately 9000. Which works out to around 1300calorie deficit per day. I know that sounds complicated but if you keep a food and exercise diary and do the maths it's quite easy.

Unfortunately there's no simple formula to work this out.
It will vary from person to person and on their weight and body mass index at the time.
If you are severly overweight it is easier to lose one kilo than when you are near a healthy weight range.
Also, it's not all about burning calories but about a healthy diet.
You don't actually burn calories as such. Calories are a unit measurment of energy. When you eat you take in energy which can be measured by calories and when you exercise (or do anything else for that matter) you use up energy which is, or can be, also measured in calories.
Watch your calorie intake and do some exercise each day.
