If you're very attractive it can be intimidating to even the most confident guys.
Are you spending time with the guys that you like so that they can see you just as a person who just happens to be very attractive and to show them that you're within reach ?
The good guys may just assume you are being hit on constantly and just not want to hastle you until there is something more to it.
As an experienced guy, currently single I am occasionally lucky enough to have some very attractive if not stunning women pay me attention.
In this scenario I put myself on self restraint as I know what am looking for is the package and not just someone who is physically attractive. I know my limits, I'm a man with testosterone who has a lot less self control with someone I find very physically attractive. Don't get me wrong of course I want a very attractive girlfriend but I know from experience this does not give me what I need, it's more about the person. Thus I feel have to be more objective with a stunner and have my guard up a little higher, until I know her.
So bottom line is be accessible and try and find out about a guy, don't make him jump too many hoops to get to know you. When guys make up their mind they make up their mind and so as he knows you and your situation and starts to enjoy your company he will be planning how to get you on that date to close the deal with you before somebody else does.
And when you find him, remember you are still going to get a lot of attention, possibly more so you will have to work harder than average to show your man that you are only his.

possible ideas of why they haven't asked you out:::
---they have too much going on w/o a gf
---you might be intimidating them
---you might be over-confident, some guys don't like that
---you might be too cocky, relax.
---they don't want to go into a relationship at the time
---you might appear taken by the way you hold yourself
---there is also the possiblity that you are not as attractive as you think- if the compliment was from your family, they have to say good things about you 'cause they're your fam, but it could not be as true. If it was from your friends or from a guy- they might have been nice, how honest are they with you?
---some guys DO look through more than a girl's looks, so smart up your brains, not your looks.
for you to ask them out:::
---be confident, don't back down when asking,
---look them straight in the eye
---don't stutter or mutter
---some guys like a brave voice who asks them out, or maybe they are old-fashion, so an rejection could be in your path.
Don't force yourself into a relationship, let you and another flow into it. If you force it, it could make it a rocky relationship.
I'm not doubting you, I'm just telling you.
Good Luck with your upcoming boyfriends... ;)

I would agree with others that you might not be as attractive as you think you are. I have often found that some people have more confidence in thier looks then those viewing them.
My grandmother use to say "self praise is the best praise because it might be your only praise".
In most case this is the norm. Most people have more self worth then looks.
Men may not ask you out because you are cocky and they look at you and see no reason for it since you are really not that attractive.
If i were you I would do a sef assesment of what I consider my best looks and then move on from there.
Rember beauty is in the eye of the beholder and those that are beholding you might not think your all that!!!

well, it depends who said you're attractive, and their intentions. whether or not its true, if you are or if you are not, is TRULY not relevant. in this life, even the ugliest of uglies get dates! look around you honey.
If you are indeed very pretty and look like a little doll that needs to be wrapped up and put on a pedestal, then, lucky you! perhaps guys tend to therefore view you as "self-absorbed" instead of seeing you for being shy? perhaps you look at them in a haughty sort of manner because you know you're attractive, and so do they? its amazing, women who bedazzle usually end up with not very attractive (but outgoing guys who have an eye for that which glitters).
well, the core of what i'm trying to get to, because i could say so much on this topic, is that its inside that counts. what are you projecting on a personality scale. remember, if you date a guy who falls for looks only, chances are he's a shallow little toad who needs a kick over into the nearest pond, not fit for a princess like you!
try joining a club and taking up hobbies or a new sports that gets you making friends all round. once you've made friends, just be yourself, or if you like someone, send them a letter and ask them on a date to the cinema. dont throw yourself at a guy either, you'll come across as cheap and trashy and wont be valued as you'd like to be.
joining a drama group can help you grow in confidence. have fun honey, life's too short to worry too much about guys, my dad always used to say to us (four) girls (his daughters) "there is a lid for every pot in this world"...teehee

Hey hun
I reckon it could be because most men will look at you and think:
a) Wow - that girl is well out of my league
b) She is really attractive so she must have a boyfriend already
c) I feel really intimidated by the way she looks
If you wanna ask them out / approach a guy, just be confident. If you notice someone you fancy if your out somewhere, give them loads of eye contact (the kind where you look at them and then when they look at you, you look away so it's kinda obvious you were checking them out)
Good luck hun, have fun and just be yourself.

No-one has ever asked me out either - in 34 years. But I've had lots of relatiuonships, one mrriage and now live with my partner. Maybe you are putting too much emphasis on there being a specific question instead of just getting to know people and letting friendships develop.

Sometimes a woman who is very attractive will intimidate many men. They figure they dont' have a shot and then don't try. Why not be the bold one and ask one of them out for once?

I guess the guys around you must be intimidated by you. that's why you're not being asked out often.
If you like someone just ask them out for a coffee or something like that. that shouldn't be much of a problem. If you really are attractive no guy in his right mind would ssay no to going out on a date with you.
