I mean the Seprent talked Eve into eating the fruit of good & evil and God told the snake that it would crawl on its belly from now on.

The serpent was simply a tool under control of the main rebel ....Satan.
Have you never read how he is referred to in Revelation 12:9?

I think serpent is just another symbolic name for Satan, I don't think it was a literal snake.
