believe the theory of evolution? Or in the 'big bang' theory? I know Christians that believe that God created the big bang and that humans are here through evolution but God made the evolutionary process. I was just wondering if there are people in other religions that add science to their religious views.

Muslims generally find no difficulty in accepting science, due to the rational perspective of Islamic study.
The Almighty GOD creates in the manner He wills.
It is easy to observe that the process of life and the systems of the physical world operate according to well established laws.
You may find it interesting that we read in the Holy Quran (revealed 14 centuries ago):
Islam is logic for the mind and beauty for the heart.

Try finding the following book: "Genesis and the Big Bang" by Dr. Gerald Schroeder (Dr. Schroeder is an Orthodox Jew)

i am jewish and i dont believe in the big bang or the theory of evolution... i believe that on the 6th day of creation god created man- there was no monkey-man stage...

Yes, actually, it is only in the US that christianity has somehow been construed to have anything to do with scientific developments whatsoever. It's one of the things that the rest of the developed world shakes its collective head about when the US is brought up.
Further, there is no problem with literalism that I know of amongst Jews, Sikhs,Hindus or Buddhists. Many people in the muslim world are so poor they cannot worry about science - they are trying to stay alive.
