religious 'beliefs'?

If the hypocrites 'believed', they wouldn't repeatedly marry and divorce as though it were going out of style, and would never divorce in the first place, now would they?

Pearly Gator: Are you serious??!! Do you realize that your idiocy is showing?? Have you ever even looked at in-depth divorce statistics???!!!
Surely, you posted that answer to point out the hypocrisy of Christians. If so, you did a mighty fine job of it.

They tell you that because it doesn't affect them personally.

Of course, if anyone actually wanted to "defend marriage", divorce would be outlawed. But that would affect the rights of the majority (including the vocal opponents of gay marriage), so divorce is a non-issue to them.

Just like Leviticus. They get all aglow talking about a man laying with a man. The other 600+ proscriptions? Forget about those! Following those would affect christians! Can't have that!

The problem with your question is that is in the fallacy of "begging the question." You’re using circular reasoning. This means that you’re assuming something that you have not yet proven and then making a point from that statement. You have shown NO proof to support your statement of "Christians make such an utter mockery of marriage." Because of that, the second part isn't even valid. You have to prove the first part to even begin the second part. The first part is merely your opinion, which is not valid.

They do beleive right then and there when they are getting married....BUT people change...and five or ten years from the day you marry someone...your still married but not to the same person you fell in love with. Some of us are lucky and grow /change together in the same way...but the numbers are very few unforunately.

Humm... Good question. Are they really Christians...According to the Bible divorce is not allowed if you do divorce someone you are not allowed to remarry it is then considered adultery. So if you commit adultery on a daily basis without repenting are you a Christian? So they are not Christians any way now are they. Nope they are not.

It is not based on our religious beliefs,It is the word of God...You are judging man which you don't have the power to do...ask God himself instead of man and see what answer you get then...

First off I think your legs are sexy as hell. But to answer your point.... they are idiots and really have no business saying who we can and can't marry.
