http://www.edmunds.com will tell you the prices of every vehicle out there, in your region, with the equipment you want, and inform you about any incentives for your area. About 38 - 42k sticker.

^^ that guy sounds a bit bitter. Toyota doesn't have the markup the domestic guys have. A loaded Tundra 4x4 D-Cab has about 3k mark up. Depending on where you are and what month it is, there are rebates to be had. Right now, in the South East, there is a $4k rebate. But that is subject to change.

The odd saying of "if they wanna do business, they'll sell at your price." is b/s. If I pay 35k for a truck, I promise you, I'm not selling it for a loss. It's not going to happen.

Less than what they asking, well, way less. New vehicles are a rip off from the word "Go"! Take the Sticker Price and deduct about $5,000-7,500 and you at about what it really worth without a trade in. You give them a Trade in they may deduct the above amount because they already can and then you out your Trade for nothing. Sell your Trade in through the local Classified Newspaper. Then "Tell" the Dealer what you will give, start with $7,500 off the List Price but go no more than $5,000 off. I speak from experience, if they want to sell the vehicle then they will work with you. Also, those amounts I give may be a little low. Loaded vehicles where I live are advertised often on sale with $5,000-10,000 off List Price and that with no trade!!! Remember, you not have to beg a Dealer to sell you a vehicle, but, many people have been lead to believe they just glad someone sold them a car and pay whatever the Dealer quotes. There a lot of places to shop.
