i generally buy jarred spaghetti sauce (I actually prefer the cheap $.99 version from Aldi's, otherwise Prego is really good), then add 1 pound Italian sausage, browned and crumbled; one can petite diced tomatoes; 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning; 1/2 teaspoon each of onion and garlic powder; 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar; 1 tablespoon olive oil; and 2 tablespoons of white sugar. Mix it all together in a saucepan and heat over med-low heat, stirring often, until warmed through. Serve over your favorite cooked noodles with some garlic Texas toast and a nice green salad on the side. Yummy!

Shopping list:
Spaghetti noodles
Canned sauce (I prefer Hunts)
and Parmesan Cheese!

Follow the directions on the back of the noodle package.
When the noodles are done, drain the water and add your sauce. You can also make your own sauce, but since you asked for a SIMPLE recipe, I recommend using canned sauce. After you add your sauce, cook on low until it's hot. Grab a plate and sprinkle some cheese on top--you're ready to eat!!

Salad and garlic bread goes great with spaghetti!☺

Buy a jar of sauce that you like. Add two tablespoons of grape jelly. Simmer for about twenty minutes. Them serve with your favorite pasta.

One of the great pasta resturants uses grape jelly in all their red sauce. It looks sterange when you add it, but just stir while it heats, and it will blend in. It tastes like you knew just the amount of wine to add.
