Like rolling their eyes when one is serious? Making UGLY faces?
Grunting like a HOG to show their displeasure?
And then don't understand when we GO OFF on them?

I understand your frustration, from both sides of the issue. Sometimes my sister will yell at me for insinuating things when that thing was not even on my mind. Either I am doing something wrong or she is over reacting. Not sure which. On the other hand, I have seen people not paying attention to me when I am talking and then they wonder why I just walk away in the middle of a sentence. Too bad we can't video tape them to show what they look like.

Some people like you describe probably know that they are doing those obnoxious things but really don't care. They are insensitive to the feelings of others.

But for those who are not aware of these bad habits, you can only hope one day they will get wise and stop.

Yes and when you call them on it, they pretend like they don't know what the hell you are talking about. That's why I dumped my last boyfriend. He was a rude, self-involved, user. He would roll his eyes at me and grunt like a pig sometime also. Ewww, makes me sick even thinking about it.

They are not oblivious to it they just don't care if it is irritating to other people. It is a very immature way to express you disapproval of another person but unfortunately it is the most common. They figure if they feign innocence when you "go off" they can make you feel guilty. Ignorance is bliss...or so they say.

Sometimes they are. Sometimes they do it unintentionally. Everyone has a bad day every once in a while. Im sure we can all admit to these things. But then there are those that make a habit of it and everyday is a bad day for them.

The type of person that does this kind of behavior is looking for you to go off on them. It's all part of the fun. They do understand why you are going off on them, it just allows them to pretend like they did nothing and you are just unreasonable.

Oh yeah. I've been accused of doing or saying something that I wasn't even aware of. Maybe some people do these things on purpose. Others do not.

No, too many people are selfish, and sarcastic. They don't care how they affect others. I wish everyone would consider how their behavior does affect others, then the world would be a nicer place.

Yes, I believe so. Especially with words. People really close to me offend me at times with words or facial gestures.

Unfortunately, not all people are cognizant to the things they are doing. Learning to deal with people is a skill few master when they are young.
