I fear for my children's safety the most. Especially at school when they are left to the care of someone else.

I have watched the schools grow in the past 15 years from posting metal detectors at the main doors. to having security guards. In my town they just built 2 new schools with security at the top priority. You have to go through the office to enter the main halls of the school. Some towns and some schools have a long way to go, but I feel that they have this in a good way. But terrorism, u never know what they have planned next.

I personally dont let things like terrorism and school violece worry me becasue I cant control them. But of the two, I would say that i am torn with terrorism you should worry becasue it could effect the children at school. But on the other hand, school violence occurs more often than terrorists attacks in america.

My child's safety at school. You just never know when you kiss their forehead in the morning what their going to face in school. Our children have to go to school. If we felt threatened in a job or a place for that matter we would remove ourselves from the situation. But our children have to go where we tell them to go. I think we as parents need to fight for a serious security system in our schools. Start of the art. Our children deserve to go to school and be safe. It's time we demand it.

Fear of President Bush

I try not to let either of these bother me. I know every day of my life bad things can happen anywhere. I could get in a bad car accident or my house could catch fire, too. But to dwell on that, I'd be missing the joys that life can bring. So...I keep myself and my family as safe as I can and we go on living our lives. It helps that I believe in God and that He is with me every day. I ask for his blessings and know that no matter what happens, he is near.

Both high priorities.

To me, people that do this are domestic terrorists.

Either foreign or domestic terrorists are detrimental to our children and communites
