I think you miss the whole point. Humaniatirian is different from immigration. Immigration status does not dictate a person's humanitarian act. If you want to help somebody, help that person regardless of the race, sex, age, etc. and because that is what your conscience tells you to do. About immigration, that is the reason why there is a law, in order for the people, not only their citizens but citizens of other country to follow. Like the border fence, I don't think that Mexico nor Canada has the right to contest or condemn the border fence since it will be built inside US territory. It's the USA who will shoulder the cost of constructing the fence. So what do the neighboring countries contesting at. You make rules for your family to follow. That is the same as the law of the USA.

Many of are faced with life and death situations BECAUSE of the illegal invaders ~ lowered wages making health care unavailable for many, hospitals overcrowded making strained health care workers and physicians, illegals driving w/o license or insurance, criminals coming here illegally to add to the ones legally here, etc. ~
If five illegals went to the hospital because they had an emergency due to a wreck while driving intoxicated, with no license and no insurance and you were told to wait because all the personnel were working to save THEIR lives and you had a heart attack and DIED, it would be because ILLEGAL invaders were in this country!! You can call this a hypothetical situation, but situations such as this most likely have happened more than once!!
Illegal invaders do not belong in the USA.
Deport illegal invaders
NO AMNESTY
NO exceptions
NO more anchor babies
CLOSE the borders
MAKE English the OFFICIAL language
SUPPORT the Minutemen
STOP the U.S. government's funding of Latino Nazi-type groups like La Raza, MEChA, LULAC, MALDEF
VOTE IN NOVEMBER!!!!!!!!

Illegal immigration is against the law. You can play 'what if' all day long, but bottom line is that the practice needs to end. Bush signed the border fence bill, state and local authorities are starting to muster their resources to solve the problem, time will tell how it all works out, hopefully Mexico will get clueful about the situation and work more on improving their own country instead of trying to illegally move en masse to ours....

I would like for him to go ahead and save my life. Then he should be deported. Afterwards, I would be forever in his debt and would probably write him regularly, help him out with things I can and perhaps visit him once in a while. Still, he shouldn't be here illegally.
HOWEVER: If I am in a life or death situation and the only person around is an illegal alien, it makes sense that he's the one responsible for putting me in the life or death situation in the first place.

This question has been asked a thousand times in as many ways with different scenarios.
Most people will tell you that of course they would want to be saved.........others will say ,yes after he saves me then deport him, others will say,(and they are lying)Id rather die.......
what good does this type of question do,does it solve the problems ? No it doesn't,you are still pro illegal and I am still anti illegal...

i dont exactly agree with some of the benefits of being an alien (like the healthcare..) but, i think that most that come here are really looking for a better life and will work to get it. if they are here illegally and working here, they are some of the hardest workers and doing stuff that americans wont, so i wouldnt have him deported.
if they are not a law abiding citizen, i would say they can go back to their home, because we have enough problems with citizens that are filling our jails and tying up our legal systems.
in short, yes, i would want the help of someone, anyone, race doesnt matter, i dont think race would matter to anyone if it was life or death. if that person is hardworking, and not just a mooch, then i wouldnt want him deported. but if they are, i wouldnt mind having them leave.

Of course I would want the illegal alien to save me in your ludicrous scenario, however the premise of your question is preposterous, hence I will not fear for my life when illegal aliens are deported.

Silly question my brother, I get your point though. I must say that you are missing a bigger point and that is the law. True we need immigration reform but why should some struggle and come legally and some just disregard all and come illegally? A bigger issue though is terrorism. If it's so easy to come what's going to stop terrorist? I know they're already here but this is an issue!

Well, i dont want to report anyone so that person will be deported. This is our world and suddenly all the selfish people are taking countries saying it is their own and we are not allowed to live any where we want. I am European citizen living in the UK but i really feel for the illegal immigrants. But really, they should just come legally like my parents did 16 years ago. Of course i would want to help him or her, even when my life is not on the line, i would help him or her when it was a real situation, like their life on the line etc.

I would help anyone in a life or death situation. You are mixing two different issues. There is a right way and a wrong way to enter this country. In order to protect Americans from terror groups, we have to control the wrong way of entering the USA. Even that does not guarantee our safety.
