Focus on getting to know him and not so much what he thinks of you. You really can't change what he thinks. Be as open and honest as possible.
Offer to split the bill but don't be pushy about it. If he tries to be a gentlemen, let him.
Keep a penny between your knees, and don't let if fall. ;)

Wear something you have worn before and you are comfortable in.
Take enough money to get home and to cover the date itself, don't expect him to pay but he should pay!
Avoid chatting about ex boyfriends or ***** about your friends...you want to praise your friends
Don't play with your phone...Keep in on silent but keep vibrate on so that if it does go off he can sense it but be impressed that you ignored it (and maybe get your mum or sister to text you...keep up the popular image!)
Don't sleep with him on the first date!!
Kiss him if you want....

Well...I a little more info would of been nice....but I would say, just be yourself. Look presentable, put on some perfume, and dont try too hard
