I was reading on a site, not sure which, that homemade tattoos are actually easier to get rid of....through laser of course. i havent heard of any other ways of getting rid of it. I guess you could get a knife a cut it out, home made style.... Dark ink is easier for the laser to remove. it'll probably take a couple session, depending on size and color. Its pretty expensive. Probably in the thousands....actuallly i have no idea since i have no idea how big or intricate the tattoo is. http://www.infoplasticsurgery.com/bodycontouring/tattooremoval.html

have you tried a dermatologist . they may be able to perscribe a cleanser that will take the ink out of his melonoma and pores. Be fore you go tough get some pore cleanser and put it on the area and leave it for at least 30 minutes then wipe it off, try a few times just to be sure.

I heard it cost around $1000 for a tattoo removal. Maybe your hubby should just get it covered.

wow. ur husband is crazy...he should try to go to a tatto removal place. even though its not a real tatto, he can still get it lasered off...this should be a lesson for him not to try any more home made tattoo rituals!

get it covered with something he really wants.. a good tattoo artist should be able to cover it so that it seems that it wasn't really there at all.. good luck
