Hair grows about 0.5 mm/day. In month, it will grow about 1.5 cm (about 0.6 inches). Chrsitmas about 75 days away, so you are looking at 3.5 - 4 cm of growth (about 1.25-1.6 inches).

It really depends on the person, but I think it grows about a quarter of an inch or so a month. I have heard that getting hair cut often actually makes it grow faster and it also reduces split ends and breakage, but I am not sure if this is true. I have medium length hair so I am hoping for it to grow out longer.

It depends on the person. My husbands hair grow's faster than anything I've ever seen! He has to go get it cut every 2 weeks or it drives him nuts! Me, though? When I get it cut short, it grows back out in 4-6 months until it gets past my shoulders... then it just stops, it never gets any longer. I know, I've went most of my life with out haircuts.

It seems like it grows slower when you want it to grow out, then when you're afraid of your roots showing, your hair shoots out of your head faster than a bullet from a gun! That's just the way the cookie crumbles!
