Dont jump in head first, talk in slowly, make sure you definatley get a vibe before holding hands, it might scare her off, so you have to be patient. She might think you're pushing it. See how the night goes, maybe wait until your second or third date to hold hands. OR when it comes to the end of the night, when saying goodbye, just stand near her and tell her what a great time you had with her, you will tell if it the right time to kiss her or not. If you manage a kiss off of her, then you may hold hands on your next date.

I do hope you mean just taking a walk on your way to somewhere decent. I'd be appalled if someone wanted to go on a walk as a date.
I'm high maintenance - what can I say?! :D
But with regards to holding hands - There is nothing wrong with it - it's very personal though. More loving than a kiss sometimes as it has no sexual connotations. It's the innocence of it that make people uncomfortable.

She wouldn't have accepted a date with you if holding hands was a problem with her. It's considered politeness to hold hands. If you don't at least try, some one else will be holding her hand next time.
Girls like a guy who has confidence in himself.
Afraid to hold a girls hand makes you a wimp and
she won't be impressed.
After the date is over. Walk her to her door and take both hands in yours. At that time you will know if she wants to be kissed. She'll look into your eyes if she wants to and pull her hand away if she don't.
Always remember, girls like kissing just as much as boys do.
Good luck

I think it's a lovely question.... It's the first time move when you feel all butterflies and warm... I would look for the signs, be alert and go with the flow... I think you'll know if she'd object by her body signs throughout the date. Hold on in there bud

Whatever feels right. I'm a hand-holder, so it's natural for me. If there's some chemistry, you'll end up holding hands for sure. And if you wnat to kiss him at the end, go ahead. You may kick yourself later on for not doing it.

Aah that is soo sweet.I wouldn`t dive right in.See if she is responsive first. It`s better than just kissing Her to test the water.See how things go.Def don`t wait until third date. She might think Your too slow!! Well depending on Her personality it might need to be You who breaks the ice......really depends

Ask her if you can hold her hand. Don't wait for a sign from us because many times we are as shy as you are.
