No no no no! I don't know why you stay on this section if you don't like to be reasonable with believers. But you must not be a parent ~ so put God aside for one second. Think to yourself if you had one son, your only child that is half of you, then imagine letting him be tortured and killed (innocently I might add) for everyone else to live. Can you fathom that kind of love?? Now think to yourself how much God must love you, us. God bless.
Just for your info, I don't think it was a sacrifice so much as a New World Order, in order for us to be resurrected after death, there had to be a first~ who better than the only begotten son.

God is on a completely different "level" from us. (Though God did ask in the Bible somewhere that a man sacrifice his son to Him. The man reluctantly agreed and just before he went through with it God stopped him and said he did not have to. God wanted to make sure that the man undoubtedly believed in Him.)
God loved and loves you so much that He was willing to create a mortal image of Himself and then go through suffering and pain to show that He will do anything for us humans. We are the favorite species of the planet. That is why we have ruling over everything.

Lets put it like this.
Man and God have been separated and Man has to make sacrifices to atone for sins committed and obey very strict rules.
God wants to bridge the gap and give /man the reconciliation he's looking for. So He sends His Son to be the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be saved.
Kinda like having a son who is immune to a plague killing the whole world and u give him up to save the world.

God should have loved the world so much that he changed the rules, forgave Adam and Eve, took the flaming sword away from the gates of Eden, given man access to the tree of life and set everything right.

The thing you don't get is that He's not dead and He'll never be. He continues to reign in heaven. Sin was/is so bad that there had to be a blood offering (like in the old testament). But the blood of bulls, goats, and rams couldn't do it anymore. It had to be a perfect sacrifice, no spots, blemish, no sin (that was Christ). You killing your kids would bring any atonement for anyone's sin. That's just utterly ridiculous. Anyway, Why Lord? Why?

What I hate is how a lot christians distort numbers to make it in good condition into their madness. He ran 316 yards, and christians arbitrality rework that into 3:16 to analyze with a pair random bible reference. It only makes no sense. also if there's a god, why would he be so aggravating about a freaking American sport it really is only leisure? what about the infinite different communities contained in the league and different activities that still pray earlier a sport?

This sacrafice is so great that obviously you dont understand. This does not mean murder your kids. He didnt murder his son. He gave his son so that we can be saved. We killed his son by sinning not GOD. Read the bible and you'll know this and much more. This is what makes GOD a FORGIVING GOD.

the basic problem is that you are trying to make sense out of something that to begin with is a stupid concept. there is no god so there is no son. people and so called gods included do not die and wake up again. ask yourself if you would have believed in all this crap had you never been exposed to church etc
and what sins have people commited that they need to be born guilty.

God doesn't ask you to kill your kids. God does ask her are you a whosoever will. God just loves, we will love someone if they love us or are kind to us. We have conditions on our love. God doesnt. Put your name in that verse. For God so love ____ "what ever your name is" that he gave his only begotten Son.
