After all, especially in the case of young children, school is the place where most germs are passed. I personally think this would cut down on illness and be a good thing. What do you think?

Yeah, that's a great idea, w/ all the germs, sneezing flying around in schools, put them on the walls in every floor. i am a clean freak w/ germs and washing my hands, that's a beautiful idea!

I couldn't agree more! Hand sanitizers can go quite far in helping to reduce the risk of transmitting cold and flu viruses. Use of hand sanitizers as part of a regiment of handwashing is a great idea, I think!

Some adults could stand to learn a thing or two about hygiene as well. My husband and I were at a show recently and I had to use the washroom. While I was in the stall, another person came in and used the toilet next to mine. When I was washing my hands, this person emerged from her stall and simply walked out of the washroom. It was gross and I made it a point to avoid that person. If hand sanitizers were available, I'm betting that person would probably have used one since they are immensely portable!

Absolutley. Especially the elementary schools. They do a lot a playing outside and we can't assign a round the clock monitor for your child so, with practice starting at home and eveytime they go for a recess or lunch, they should pour some. :)

Definitely, recently students from a school near my place were infected with gastric flu and the ministry of health reported that it was caused by food handled with bacteria from feaces. some people just don't know how to wash their hands properly after relieving themselves.

Thankfully the teachers in the school my kids go to agree with you. So do I! They should either add it to the supply list every year or have dispensers installed in the rooms.

As far as I know most schools are starting to do this. My younger sister's school had it included on the supply list.
