No offense but I don't like it.
Less than original use of color. Bad composition.
Application of paint is OK.
I just wish there was something TO IT-you know?
I see a lot of art BS where I come from...
PS I like the photos much better. Be careful not to center too much. (i.e. the flower)

i can see you have a love and a talent for this, but I think this particular piece isn't doing it for me. it's a little too, i'm sorry... amature. It's not something different from what someone else can do. try to expand your range. push yourself further. change up your color palate and create 5 more of these with various shapes and sizes. see which you like more... the first or the last.

Why?
color does not enhance the texture
overall painting looks flat and shapes are
disconnecting to the eye

I'm a little bored with it. Its a good start though. I like how you get the texture, but the whole composition and color selection just doesn't work out.

I like it! I love the texture and the colors. I would've omitted the line on the side that looks like a ruler but that's just my opinion.

I enjoy the painting. It has such intricate detail. It gives me a feeling of wonderment. I'm not sure way. But, I do enjoy it very much.
