I'v been noticing that my thighs are getting bigger. I don't want to bulk up. I want to burn fat and loose weight. Also, I'm getting that middle age roll around my middle, to top it off,my butt is going south. I relise that I am not 29, what can i do?

i use the elliptical machine on some days that i do not run

if you are not losing as much fat as you would like you may need to consider increasing the length of your workouts
try to maintain a pace equivalent to light jogging not a leisurely walk in the park
maintain the jogging pace for forty five minutes and sixty minutes if possible per session for at least four sessions per week
you can do the equivalent of five minute jogs then one minute walks to reach the forty five minute total

you may be using the elliptical machine as a substitute for running due to injury but if possible begin running
there is no better exercise for losing fat than running

look at your diet and reduce meat consumption eliminate pig butter and other greasy foods
if you drink alcohol or even soda cut that out because they provide unproductive calories
consider vegetarianism

your willingness to exercise will bring success
you probably need to make only minor adjustments

The elliptical is a great cardio workout but to lose inches and tone up, you should do some resistance/weight training. Most people do not realize that this will help you drop fat by building muscle and you don't have to bulk up. Workout with resistance 3x a week and do some cardio 6 days. Eat healthy and proportionately or the workouts won't mean much.

Too much body fat! 35% is not healthy at all. You need to get into allot of low-impact aerobics and swimming. 44 is no exscuse, get rid of all the junk food in your kitchen. Your BF should be 20%.
