First, it is sad that some of the respondents have such low views on Hispanics. I have a degree in Electical Engineering, I am a high salary Engineer, I have many friends and know of many other hispanics that have high salaries (High meaning $75k and more). We do have buying power and we don't all shop at garage sales and such.

Next, I have read reports that immigrant labor and consumption contributes $1,250,000,000 a day (that's $1.2 Billion a day for those that are not good with numbers). I have posted the links below. Even Alan Greenspan, former head of the Federal Reserve, has said that immigration will help the economy.

As far as the question, yes they should. As another respondent mentioned about animal testing, it is a peaceful way to demonstrate to companies that they are not in the right to do what they do.

And no we don't just buy Goya products. Companies have begun offering advertising in Spanish, because they know it is a huge market.

And I do believe illegal immirgation is wrong, and I feel the immigration process needs to be changed to allow good hardworking people come in legally and keep the bad guys out.

Interesting...

Hispanics are a group that merchants try to please, because of their habits. The most important one is loyalty to their favorite brands. It is very difficult to make a Hispanic consumer change brands merely because of advertisement or discounts.

We're basically talking, Goya or bust...

So I guess it would have an impact...

Don't be stupid. Companies discriminate against illegals, not Mexicans. As well they should. If you're pro-illegal , move to Mexico!! Please educate yourself before you ask a question.

Shoshone has this one. They don't have any "buying power".

The only thing they need to do is GO BACK TO MEXICO. We don't want them here.
