I'd get rid of her boy friend - so could finally be mine.

I love my partner with all my heart, but if I could wave a magic wand and change things I definitely would! I know it's cheating but there's two things I'd change about him: 1) His untidiness - it drives me mad because I'm a clean freak & he's the kind of person who stubs his fags out in his tea cup and leaves it there for three days (!), which leads me on to 2) His smoking - I worry about his health, not to mention the stink it causes, but his response is 'You knew I was a smoker from the day you met me, so it's unfair of you to expect me to change'. You can't help who you fall in love with though, can you?

Sure, everyone can think of at least one, if not a dozen things that they would change about the person they loved.

BUT.... if you were to actually change them they wouldn't be the same person..... would you still love this different person that was the outcome?

So no, i wouldn't change a thing.

well i would not change a thing from him, because if i love him so much is because of i knew how he was since the beginning and i took the challenge of starting a relationship with him and the way he is just made me fall in love even more

Well....the only person I love right now is my daughter, and she's pretty darn perfect. However, for a 5 year-old she's got the most horrific farty bottom. I would like to change that. That is all.

Yes but it's something out of his hands and it wouldn't have an impact on the person he is. Other than that I wouldn't it might change the man that I love.

Change is something that must be desired by the person, other than that it would be useless.

There are always little things you wish you could change about someone, but....I fell in love with him the way he is. I'll just keep loving him and put up with those little things!

yes, if he could be more "open" about his feelings, and thoughts, it wouldn't leave me in the dark wondering what's going on sometimes.......and off to thinking things that aren't really going on. It's the insecurity issue, just be forthcoming, you don't always hear what you want, but at least you know. Doesn't make me love him anyless, I love him regardless, he's one of the greatest men I have ever had in my life.

Probably not but I don't love anyone like that. I think I would be grateful that I even found someone to love me and not worry about changing them.
