Who is Gregory Colbert and what has he done in his life?

I need to know what besides Ashes and Snow the photographer has done with his life. Kind of like a biography is needed ASAP!

I need to know what he did in his life time. I have searched the search engines for hours upon hours and I can only find information on how he travelled many places to shoot the Ashes and Snow and for like 10 years he didn't do anything but shooting.
