What the heck is an indigo or crystal child?

Question

All I know is that indigo children means something about the third eye chakra being bright indigo, but beyond that, I have no clue what these terms mean. Can anyone help me understand?

Indigo children - a bunch of spoiled brats? Actually this is a load of recently invented codswallop. Anyone who takes it seriously needs to be weaned off gossip magazines and afternoon television or checked for IQs above 90.

That is a "special" term coined to describe kids out of donor sperm, from a mixed batch / unknown origin sperm.
