Because, despite my research, I'm just not totally sure on that bit. I'm Indigo and all I have discovered is that I am meant to be "paving the way" for the Crystals!

I am aware of 2012 and the Star People. This question was intended for people who can answer it, that is why there is not much explanation. Those who can help me with this will not need more info!

Oo, and I wish I was psychic - for some reason I just can't seem to pick that up! I know everyone is special, And that's not what I'm claiming to be especially so but I just want to do my best to make sure that I fulfill what I came here to do and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could do so?

No, there are not that many Indigos or Crystals that fully understand their role. Especially the Crystals, as so many of them are young children and the latest generation.
The idea behind the Indigos paving the way is that they are a generation ahead of the Crystal children, allowing the Indigos to mature, reset the social structure and if they remain awake or awaken to who they are will be able to provide teaching and support to the Crystal children.
Many Indigos and Crystals are often misunderstood and do not understand the world around them. If they give into societal pressure without help and assistance they lose their purpose and understanding that they were born with about the spiritual aspects of life on Earth and how spirit works within the Universe.
As an Indigo - look within yourself, the answer is there for you to find and it is something that you have probably been denying yourself in your life. If you have tried to fit into society, it may be harder to remember or understand what your role is, but look back to when you were younger and what you loved and enjoyed doing - there lies what your purpose is and what your role is in paving the way for the Crystals.

I am an Indigo pre-cursor--a lonely thankless job--put here to hold the light and create safe space(s) for others to transform and heal.
I assume you've read the books by Lee Carroll and been to his websites? (links below, if not). You should read some of Lee's Kryon material too--it will be a big help. Going to a live Kryon channeling and meeting Lee will also do a lot for you. Lee's friend, Steve Rother, of Lightworker.com, has a lot of valuable information too.

I thought i was an Indigo child, i found out later I was a Goddess, starchildren are aliens from other planets here to teach those that are willing to listen, so very few are though.
Most people are too closed minded, to caught up in themselves to bother to listen to other ideas. They think thier beliefs are right and they give no room for free thought.
I understand that I am here to teach people the errors of thier ways, that the old religions of Abraham are violent and useless, most dont like what I have to say because it conflicts with what they were taught since they were little.

and in the 60s it was the aquarians and then there will be another lot of " special people " to follow
sweetheart in my honest opinion , what you possibly have is good psychic and perhaps mediumistic abilities
and every child born is open to having these abilities if raised in the right environment
no child is born with an indigo aura ... our auras are ever changing
and i have yet to see a baby's aura been photographed at birth to prove any such thing
now ....
this doesnt mean you arent special .. because you are .. but we all are
and by all means develop your psychic/medium ability .. because the world could do with more psychic mediums to bring words of love xx

I would think that the time is coing when people will understand their roles more and more. Are yo familiar with the 2012 concept? Not the olympics! But the battle that many people are now talking about. May be you should read more about that.
