- has anyone seen a list of the drugs they will be discounting as such?

Damn - I take verapamil 240 mg twice a day - they list 120 mg but I see Walmart will honor these prices onl at quantities "commonly" prescribed per month. I wonder if that precludes my doc prescribing the 120 mg 4 per day?

There is a list at www.walmart.com in the pharmacy section. I think that it is only valid in a few stores for now but it will expand. They are mostly older drugs but it is a good deal if these drugs work for you.

Here is a list so far. http://www.sootoday.com/content/news/full_story.asp?StoryNumber=19811 Remember this is for a 30 day supply and be sure to call before you go to be sure they have enough of that drug and as well as if they have it. Pricing around fo almost everything in healthcare is VERY important if you want to save money. I would also suggest getting the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz because she tells you all the ways you can save including shopping around for you drugs at different pharmacy's....you would be amazed at what I found out and how much I am saving! I bought my copy at the local Barnes and Noble partly because I needed to find a new insurance company and a new doctor, and it helped me tremendously. Now I have an HSA which is perfect for me...this Walmart campaign is just the "icing on the cake".

keep in mind that they said 'starting at $4' so many generics may be more. There's a list on walmart.com but it's not valid at at walmarts yet. They started in tampa, going to all of florida, then the rest of the country. Target's going to do it too.
