I live in TN. I''m currently a softmore in highschool. I'm making a 4.0 and I want to be a veterinarian. I'm in clubs like HOSA, FCCLA, FCA, and First Priority. My family isn't broke, but I can't afford those 8 years of college, especially since my dad is in college. Could you help me out? Thank you!

It might be too early to apply for some scholarships, but you can get a feel for what is out there. Your high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships available to its students. Also there are free membership scholarship search engines. Also private companies offer scholarships and can be located via Google.com and Yahoo.com.

while the other answers were good, this is what you should really do.... (i was valedictorian of my hs, graduated from a top-notch liberal arts school with a full academic scholarship and am currently at Johns Hopkins med school)... go to your high school college advisor... talk with the person and make sure they know your accomplishments and begin a relationship with them.... tell them you need help with scholarships (all high schools have at least 20 scholarships that all students can apply for).... since you still have time, look over the applications, begin the essays and do your own research for scholarships geared towards students that want to go in the med field.... a national scholarship is difficult to get, compared to one that your college advisor is going to give you info about.... you cant wait to talk to the college that you are interested in, b/c by the time that they accept you, you will be competing with ALL incoming students..... hope this is helpful... need any other advice send me a message.....

You have to talk with the Financial Aid Office at your school, or the college you plan to attend.

you can talk to an advisor at your school, they can give you an application. There should also be a place on the schools website to search for scholarships.
