My cingulum. There's something soothing to be able to sit in circle with this item, chanting as each knot is worked in, or out once the magick is done. It is decorative on the altar, and something I can wear with me all the time if I need that extra bit of protection.
For those who may not know, a cingulum is a 9-foot braided cord - so its 9 feet x 3 cords technically. The meditation process that goes into it while you are braiding it together makes it a very powerful item.

I know this isn't normally seen as a tool, but my answer is pure sandalwood oil. It is the only oil that I have used in rituals for over a decade, so the energies are very familiar and it acts as a trigger for me. I use it in every ritual and have used it for many different purposes. It has become a very important tool for me.

I hardly ever use tools... not so much the basic ones anyway. My favorite tool would have to be my Black Mirror, given to me by a close friend what I did a self-dedication.

I'm a big fan of the dagger. I've never been much of a chalice user, except in elemental rites, but one of my friends just made a beautiful black glass chalice with a chaos star etched in...so I'm going to have to figure out more ways to work it in!

I rarely use my tools anymore. I guess my favorite would be a large silver chalice that was a gift at one of my rites of passage.

My new sistrum. I just started using it and not only does it clear the area of negativity, but also increases the energy in the room.
