When I go out clubbing I never really feel like I get 'smashed.' I drink as much as my friends do and they say that they are off their faces but I feel like I am just having a good time. When I drink a lot of alcohol I usually wake up the next morning feeling fine but other times I hardly drink any and wake up feeling terrible, it's weird. All my friends say that I don't drink enough but I know that I keep up with them. Does the effect alcohol has differ between people? I know that if you are bigger or a woman it does but I am the same size as my mate and when we drink the same amount he is doing all sorts of things, getting his wang out and putting his hand down his girlfriends top while I still feel concious enough to know that is innapropriate? Should I just drink more and more? Who else has this when they drink?

Why do you want to get smashed? It's irresponsible and rediculous... you'll only do things you'll later regret. Don't get smashed... you see all your friends acting like idiots... why look the same way? You'll be more attractive if you can hold yourself up in clubs.

My husband does that too. We figure that there a couple of reasons. One he's a pretty big/ muscular guy. And two he comes from a long line of alcoholics. I also had a female friend like that. She learned the hard way not to try and get smashed with her friends. She partied one night and woke up 4 days later in the hospital with alcohol poisoning. So definetly don't just keep drinking or you could hurt yourself. By the way just because your friends act that way doesn't really mean they are that much drunker. Some people just act like an *** at even the thought of being drunk.

It amazes me that you ask this question....alcohol is like a poison for me....I have to be careful about even taking cold medicine now because of alcohol content....I could suffer a seizure if I have alcohol....YES....people have different responses to alcohol....my feet swell up, I sweat the alcohol out while I am sleeping and sometimes I get Grand Mal seizures....

Why the hell do you want to be smashed? You are essentially poisoning your liver...

Your ability to tolerate the alcohol is affected by such factors as your sex, men being able to tolerate more than women, weight, and how much food you have consumed prior to drinking....you will obviously get more drunk on an empty stomach...

I used to think that drinking was so great when I was younger but now that I can't drink and I know how sick it makes me I can appreciate how toxic it is...you and your friends should be careful...hopefully you aren't doing that often because it will catch up to you....not trying to preach just telling it like it is....

Yes,
One of my ex's got horribly horney it was just sad at one point.
My current guy gets all giggly and rediculas.

I myself I pass out I get tired and slur a bit, not very attractive, but it seems people have the oposite effects.

My oldest sister would get so %^&*faced she left underware before in a parking lot at her bestfriends bridal shower, so my answer is a simple yes.

Some guys like flavored vodka drinks, if you can't handle the taste. I myself hate beer!!! However my current boyfriend can drink beer and enjoy it.

Vodka is a big thing at bar in cities as well. However I do not recomened a cosomplotin after what my sister did at the bridal shower...so embarassing.

Juleette- :)

Everybodys body is different, some can tolerate better than others, and men can consume more alcohol than women, and women are more prone to diseases due to alcohol than men, and it also depends on how much you eat, and do you space out your drinks over a period of time.

Yes, every1 has their own resistance to alcahol. Also it has to do with the hydration & ph balance in each individuals body at that time. Som ger agressive while others feel tired, passive, loving, etc.

It would depend on how your body is affected by alcohol, your weight, and as well if you ate something before you went out. Have a good time!!!

The whole point of drinking is to feel good, so if it is making you feel that way already, why change anything?

My grandfather used to say there are merry drunks, fighting drunks and sad drunks. I guess also there are people on whom drink has little effect and those who become sleepy.
