dont you hate when you ask a plain and simple question, just killin time while your at work and people start to give you self help answers about your life. they talk about true love and being true to yourself and a bunch of none sense for the simplest questions. is this church or an internet site to have fun at?

Who's to say what "normal" is? If you ask a question, somebody is going to answer it - perhaps it won't be the answer you were looking for, or they probably couldn't read your mind well enough to tell exactly what you were thinking when you posted your question - but if you don't care for the response you get just skim it & move along. That's just what we do. Yes, this is supposed to be for fun - but others DO take it seriously - & I know I've used this to get information about stuff that really interests me - not just posting random questions cos I was bored or killing time.

So how do the people at large know whether the question is in fun or serious. I, for one, do not read minds. Some of the question that I have answered have been very, very serious questions. I have noticed they might be the first and only question asked--they are quite serious. So when you ask a question, and don't want serious answers, you might inform your audience as such. My opinion. Enjoy life. Smile.

I agree that not all the questions deserve to be answered but many of this people really need help, advice, or just to find out that someone care.
To be intelligent doesn't mean that automatically you have a big and good soul. And if you don't have it than the first thing is unuseful.

That means you ask a question and people give you answers.
It doesn't mean however that you will get the answer you want, but yes if it is a simple question then you should get a simple answer.

I don't know if you read the 'Marriage and Divorce' topic much, but my favorite are the people that think marriage counseling - which to my knowledge doesn't actually work - is the solution for every problem...
He/She's cheating - try counseling
No sex - try counseling
She won't cook - try counseling
He's a pig - try counseling
People need to turn off Dr. Phil and try to solve their own problems.

I know wut you mean! I'll ask a question just to ask a question, & people speak to me as thou I asked the question for my own personal self! Sometimes I like to jus ask things b/c I want to know the answer...doesnt mean the question pertains to me or any 1 I know!! Geesh, people on here take things to heart way too much!!
