Could have a dose of bronchitis? or maybe even Pneumonia?
There could be a Strain in the Chest Muscles? or Has your Body been Jerked violently recently? (Vehicle Accident or Sports Injury?)

This could be a simple chest infection or a strain through coughing or something worse like pneumonia. with pneumonia you'd have a lot more symptoms than just a cough and pain, fever, flu like pain such as aching limbs headache, you'd struggle just to string a sentence together.

its most likely that you have strained your chest muscles by coughing alot, or very hard. bronchitis is also a possibility. call the doctor
