my sister does. look for good conditioners and some sort of leave in spray conditioner to use while your straightening. that's what my sister does. her hair looks a lot healthier when she uses the straightener also. just be sure to replace the moisture you are losing and if you smell burning hair - stop.

I'm a hair dresser and i always advice my clients to use a good pair of heated irons like tga but only two or three times a week and using a good conditioner so ur hair doesn't dry out.

You really should not. Try to stretch it to at least every 2 or 3 days if you can and always use a heat protection product. Some good ones are from Alberto V05 red line series, Straight!, Kiehls Silk Groom Heat Protection Cream, and Thermasilk heat protection spray.

No not at all, it might look ok for a while but the lasting effects is terrible, you hair will become brittle and cause more split ends also it will cause frizziness. try only using them when you absolutley have to and always use a protective spray before hand and try using a good straightners like ghd

Not really, you should try giving your hair a break for a few days in between. My sis used straighteners every day and her hair looked like straw, it took ages to recover (admittedly she didn't use heat shield). Maybe you could look into getting a straightening treatment at a salon, i think they should last a couple months per treatment.

If you condition your hair daily and use heat protectors or thermal hair lotions, you can use an iron every day without causing excess damage.

I wouldn't but I'm sure some do. If so, I would use a good conditioner and get a hair treatment once a month to keep from getting split ends.
