since we don't know each other, i mean he knows me, i know him but we're not close. we don't even say hi or bye but sometimes from the corner of my eye he's looking at me? does this mean he likes me?

I wouldn't think so. If he liked you, he'd say hi or try to strike up conversation. Probably a lot of people look at you and you don't notice because you chose not to but since you are fixated on this guy, you think every time he looks your way it means something.

You can usually tell that someone is looking at you when you look at them and your eyes meet together. He may be looking at you because he thinks you're cute, or maybe he likes what you are wearing. Why don't you just try flirting with him and seeing where that takes you if he seems like someone you'd be interested in.
