Notebooks can be bought at any store like Price Chopper and Walmart. They are not supplied to schools. Text books can be purchased from Barnes & Noble, Ecampus.com, Amazon.com and many other places. Just do a search on the subject and grade (ex. 8th grade math textbook) that you are looking for. I'm sure you will find many sources.

Any stationers, and places like Woolworths and Smiths are always advertising on TV before school terms start that they have everything necessary for the new 'student'.

I always get my stationary from Wilkinsons as it is cheapest. However Tesco value books are a pretty good investment as well.

Most of the bigger cities that I know of have a teacher's supply store. Check your yellow pages... :) Good luck!
