Liability, and more words to read when you're sitting in a hot bath with nothing to read :-)

There was a company back in the 50's I think, maybe 60's, that made shampoo and the bottles. But they actually increased the amount of sales by almost double simply by adding the phrase "Repeat" on the shampoo bottles. Although it's not necessary unless you have very oily hair...I thought it was interesting.

Some people need instructions for everything. I believe there is a law that every product should specify the ingridients and the instructions how to use the product. It makes our lives easier, but not everyone needs to read the directions how to use a shampoo

the instrcutions are there so you know you are using the right shampoo for your hair.. for example.. if it has at the front for dry hair...and ur hair is usually oily, then you are using the wrong shampoo it will just make your hair in bad condition. the intructions are the back is just to show how you should apply and use the shampoo incase you get any in your eyes what should you do? stuff like that. so in anything its always important to read instuructions.

Its for when Lord Lucan comes home, he's going to need to know what to do.

Same as any product, its just a habit they have all got into and dare not stop incase someone desides to microwave the shampoo and pour it on thier cornflakes.

It's for blonde's. OK all joking aside it's because if there are no direction and warnings someone will purposely used it wrong then try to sue the company. That's also why the put the cautions on the side of disposable coffee cups.

If you read them once, at some point in your life, you weren't sure if you were doing it right.
If for no other reason you know can be cocky about your knowledge haircare now.
I want to know why there's a sticker on boxes of bullets telling us to keep them out of the reach of children.

In case someone use it incorrectly claiming they were not informed how to use it properly. Like the bag of peanuts that has 'contains nuts' on.
