OK I HAVE BEEN CUSTODIAL PARENT FOR 10 1/2 YRS HE HAD PARTIAL HE ONLY WANTED TO BE WITH HIS KIDS ON HIS WEEKEND VISITS NEVER WANTED THEM MORE...HE WAS ONLY PAYING ME 50 AWEEK FOR FOUR BOYS FOR 10 YRS ,THE REASON WHY I ONLY RECIEVED 50 AWEEK WAS CAUSE HE TOLD ME HE WOULD GIVE UP HIS RIGHTS TO OUR BOYS I DIDNT WANT TO BE THE BLAME FOR THE KIDS NOT TO HAVE THERE FATHER SO I AGREED TO WHAT HE WANTED TO PAY .SO I WENT TO THE COURT HOUSE AND SUED FOR CUSTODY I GOT CUSTODIAL AND HE GOT PARTIAL HE AGREED TO EVERYTHING.IT WAS EVERY WEDNESDAY AND EVERYOTHER WEEKEND .WELL HE STUCK WITH IT FOR ABOUT A MONTH TOLD ME HE WAS DROPPING WEDNESDAYS CAUSE IT WAS TO MUCH.I GUESS IT WAS INTERFERING WITH HIS SINGLE LIFE I DIDNT CARE I HAD MORE TIME WITH MY SONS...I DID EVERYTHING DOC APPTS DENTIST ,ER RUNS WHEN THE BOYS GOT HURT I WOULD CALL HIM AND TELL HIM I WAS AT THE ER HE SAID WELL JUST CALL ME I AM SORRY BUT IF IT WAS ON THE OTHER END MY BUTT WOULD BE THERE .(RUNNING OUT OF ROOM WILL BE WRITING MORE)

You needn't worry about losing your kids. Your history with them is strong evidence of your love and commitment. I was unable to determine the age of your children, but in most states any child over the age of 12 can have their say in court as to their preferences on who they want to be with. I don't know if there was court ordered child support set in your divorce. If so, I'm sure that it was more than the amount you were receiving. This should give you the ability to go after passed owed child support. Your children can even file for the back child support once they reach the legal age for your state. This is an aggravating and painful time for you but you will be victorious in the end.

Your son's are old enough to remember the wrongful things your ex did. I don't see how any court could take the boys and let this low life have them. It sounds like you and the boys have enough evidence to stop the creep.
After, you see, he's not awarded any custody, take his *** to the cleaners for back support and future. Most states now go by the income, and decide on a proper amount for the boys to receive. The courts are not suppose to give any consideration to the gf or her children. IF the courts don't give you plenty of support, keep track of if he marries this new gf and if he does, you can aslo go after her pay checks for support.
In my state, they, the courts feel that 10 year olds are old enough to decide whom or which parent they prefere to live with. From your story, I don't think you'll lose!!

you have done everything for your boys and I dont think you have anything to worry about. Your boys are old enough to talk to the judge on their own and the judge does listen to children of that age. He has no chance sweetie. I am so sorry that you had to go through all of that. its unfair, but your boys will be better men because of it. your ex showed them how NOT to treat a woman and how NOT to be a father. Have faith that the system will work for you... you will prevail!! :)

You have nothing to worry about. I am in the same boat with my ex. He hasn't paid for 10 years, and when he was ordered to pay 25/wk, he cried about that. It sucks that some people just don't care about their kids. I wouldn't worry about it, sounds like you are doing everything right in my book. Good luck..

you let him manipulate you, if he wanted to give up his rights for 50 bucks a week, you should have let him. it would have been his problem not yours, not your responsibility. sounds like it wasn't worth it for the lousy 50 bucks a week. you should have sued him from the beginning.
