The other night I was watching Discovery Health Channel and there was a woman on there that was having the hiccups for hours and the thing that worked to stop them was the doctor used acupressure above her eyebrows. It relaxed her muscle and stopped the problem. Maybe the next time you get them you should at least give it a try. If the problem persists though, I would say you should see your doctor.

Best wishes! :)

This may sound strange, but I promise you this is a guaranteed way to stop hiccups. I'm serious.

Place your thumb in that little valley at the very top of your nose where your nose goes into your brow.

Keep breathing normally; and as you do, apply firm pressure on that area pressing in and up. Keep up that pressure for about one minute. Then take a deep cleansing breath. Your hiccups are gone. Let me know if it works for you.

u have an osophegus problem. to beat the hic-cups you need to trick it. get a glass of water and drink it by putting you mouth inside the glass. you will spill a bit until you get used to doin it. to over come this problem entirely you need to change your diet as you eat or drink to many acidic foods or beverages.

Eat slowly and don't drink water or anything with your meals. Have liquids before you eat or after.
