Maybe you have mono...I've heard it's going around. If your sleepiness is really bothering you or hindering your progress throughout the day, I suggest you go see your doctor as soon as possible.

After that night we slept together, I thought you are pregnant. Oops... secret's out. Listen, if you are preggo, I am not responsible, I am innocent.....I have nothing to do with it.... I swear.....

Just kidding............(you know that too right?).... Ok to some serious stuff.

You have to get the Blood Iron count checked out. Is your period excessive? You probably are losing too much blood. Women, especially have this iron deficiency problem because of this monthly cycles.

Here is what you do: Even if you do not have the time to go to the doc, go to the health food stores and buy Iron tablets and Vitamin B-complex tabs. You should take them together. Iron does not get absorbed into your blood without vitamin B in your system. You probably are low on both.

Next, eat Vit.B rich foods - colored veg like yello squash, mango, sweet potato. Iron rich foods are: green leafy vegs. like spinach, leek, broccoli (also good for Calcium), red meat.

After all this, if you still feel sleepy then you should see a doc. right away. Your body is telling you something. Listen to it.

Oh, another thing: if you were always sleepy for as long as you can remember for many years, it is just plain old habit and you probably are not interested in anything. You just want to sleep it off. Then, it is a matter of going out for a brisk walk everyday in these crisp autumn days. You will feel good.

Probably there is nothing wrong if your height/weight is fine and you do not overeat. Otherwise, it is just lethargy.....

It might not hurt to have a check up with your family doc. Could be alot of different things, best to rule them all out .

There's a gastrointestinal thing going around in my little part of Ontario which has the symptoms you're describing, so that's why it's best to check with your doc.

You know most of North America is sleep deprived so maybe this is your body's way of telling you it needs more sleep ,even though you think you're getting adequate sleep.
