As far as what cupcake said...
It all depends on whether or not you accept the initial hypothesis. Your hypothesis is subjective. I do not need God.

God is far beyond our comprehension. Yet mankind has recognized the logical necessity of God ever since human beings were on earth. Which is why men fabricated so many false Gods in an effort to respond to that which they perceived as an inescapable logical necessity. However, while the necessity for "a god" can easily be realized by pure logic, the actual identity of God cannot be discovered logically. We came to know that only when God Himself took the initiative and revealed Himself to the Chosen People. Once He sent His Son into the world, and founded His Church upon Earth, knowledge of the One True God became available to all mankind.

The intricacy of God and his motivations only become obvious in hindsight. He gives us simple examples of himself that our simple minds can comprehend. His true being is still beyond our comprehension though. If you could contemplate of all the possible outcomes to every situation that you are involved in and then predict the ramifications of every action that you make or do not make you would begin to understand the the depth of Gods wisdom. If you are a true believer then you can, with a open mind, look back on your life and witness the path he has led you down. Not every decision you make is going to be a good one but if you do it in the interest of pleasing God you will find that the choices you make with him in mind always seem to work out for the best. Peace to you and your deep thoughts.

Well, what all that means is that because God is infinite, our minds cannot comprehend It. That's also why I believe God is not male OR female.
Look at it this way: Can you comprehend time? There was time, before there was man. Time didn't need to be categorized and named in order to exist. Time is INFINITE. It was here before man, and it will be here long after we're gone.
It's the same with God. We know TIME exists, I know God exists. Of course my mind can't comprehend either one.
Although...in moments of epiphany I do come close. Unfortunately, the sensation is fleeting.

Yeah, I've never figured out how a god that could be described in human terms would really be that omni-stuff.
The existence of such a being, I think, we'd be able to acknowledge, but not comprehend. It's like thinking about how big the universe is--our minds just can't do it.

The Creator would never send himself in human form (Jesus),for then he would be our equal. How do expect to comprehend when one really does not even understand their own selves. Do you really know who you are? Do you understand deeply what you feel? How can one really expect to know and comprehend a entity as huge as our universe? Man cant' even understand the human brain or use all it's potential. Therefor for those that say Jesus is God please rationalize! God can never take human form because then he would be subject to our imperfections of being human. DO not confuse Jesus as our Creator, he was a son, just as we all our, but with the mission to teach us love for our fellow brothers and our Father Creator.

And there is a question to this?
"3 blind men tried to comprehend an elephant. One said, an elephant is long, like a snake. Another that an elephant is round like a barrel. The third that it's squishy and smells bad."

God said he takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. Sometimes we can over think the whole idea of God. God said if we would become like little chidlren, simple child like faith, we would see things more clearly. God is who he is, what he says he is. Disbelief doesn't change that fact.

Maybe you need more education or a higher IQ to understand the existence of God.
