Each bird has their own scent. An African Grey has a somewhat musty smell, an Eclectus has a slightly sweet smell. I guess it depends on what you would consider to be "smelly".

there is a bird in PERU (south america) that is called in its native name "chancho" translated it means pig. its called that because is smell is so putrid and cannot be withstand. it is a way for this bird to be protected from predators

The Turkey Vulture (buzzard) - they eat rotting meat & will vomit at you when you get too close. Nice!
