A great and cheap way to get rid of smoky clothes is to hang them on the washing line. I've tried things like Febreeze and Refresh but they seem to wear off after a short time. For hair the only thing I can suggest is to wash it or maybe try spraying with a leave-in conditioner.

The best way is to avoid going to smoky places. Other than that just have a shower and wash your clothes when you get back home.

Before you wash the clothes/ hair, to freshen them up quickly you can use Febreeze on your clothes and Charles Worthington does a great spray product called shine, shine, shine.... this will "zap atmospheric odours" (like smoke) and will also make your hair shine! I use this before going to bed after a night out, smoky hair in the morning is not a good combination with a hangover!

I think the only way is to wash them. If, for example, youve stayed at a friends house and smoked and dont want other people to know, then air your clothes out the window. Def wash your hair tho, thats the only way! Oh, another thought - for the clothes, quick blast of Febreeze will freshen then up

I used to have similar problem, when I worked in a busy pub. Even if I washed my hair it would have still smelled of cigarettes. I used to wash my clothes as soon as I returned home and try to wear the same outfit, so I didn't ruin my new clothes. Anyway I quit that job, and the problem has gone.

there's no way other than washing them i'm afraid! It can help to make sure you smoke outside so the wind takes most of the smell away, and a good body spray or perfume will mask the rest. Don't forget the mint gum either!!

If you're trying to hide it from your parents/partner etc, they will always find out in the end!!

Stay out of places were people smoke, if you cannot aviod that then apart from washing them ,you could also hang the clothes outside it,s even better if the sun shine on them. But if you are a person thats always in dicos ,pubs, you will always stink of smoke, no getting away from it then, if your family smoke also a bit of a negitive thing. As above stay out of such places as much as you can.

Avoid smokey places. Wash or dry clean your clothes. Wash your hair thoroughly. If you smoke yourself, you obviously should quit else you'll never be rid of the smell.

First you should take your clothes off.
Then take a picture of yourself if you find it necessary.
Next you take a shower and shampoo yourself all over, especially hollow places, as some smoke may have been trapped there.
Finally, take your clothes to a laundry.
Oh I forgot, put on new clothes.

Please let us know about the result.
