It is the most important thing in the world when it is REAL. It is a commitment between two people not a feeling. We love our parents not because we always feel it, but because they are our! They are commited to us, and us them. That is true love!

I like the question! It`s short and straight to the point. Unfortunately the answer could fill every library in the known world and then some my friend.
Lets consider the love we have for ourselves and do an inventory of sorts before we look into the eye`s of a lovely woman/man and attempt to inject this thing some call love into an equation. I have found through my experiences that those who are well with themselves in understanding their past present and future and able to love themselves for who they are scars marks and blemishes are usually able to become a truly loving and caring person and team mate of sorts in an intimate relationship.
Love is indeed the glue that adheres us together, and we must understand the various types of love it`s not all eros or sexual. theres phili or brotherly love, agape the Christ like love that the Lord had for all of us that love that loves regardless. and the other two. So to define the type of love and narrow it down is good. But yes my final answer is Love is VERY IMPORTANT in our every day lives as human beings.

well let's look at it like this.. love can be very decieving! I loved a man who was very abusive, so it wasn't worth a crap then
Now i love a man who is mr. wonderful
Love is important when it's properly directed. When they say love is blind i couldn't agree more. love will keep you from seeing the true side of a person sometimes. It is important but i would base my biggest life choices by it. you need to stand your ground with you mind, sometimes you shouldn't follow your heart.

words will fall short to tell the importance of love. love people, animals, any even dead things around you and you will notice the the beautiful change that taking place in your life.that will tell the importance of love. love is creator of life.

Love makes the world go round, as a saying goes and it is true. Ther are different kinds of lov, lov for parents and relatives or paternal lov, lov for someone in the opposite sex or romantic lov and etc... It's just that lov deals with feelings and feelings has a lot to do with how you react in certain situations.. Meaning, if your in-love you are more capable of reacting better in certain situations than those who don't have lov.. That's what makes lov very important... It has a lot to do with how pipol interact in their evryday life...
