There are many airlines that you can apply to. Unfortunately, American really isn't doing very hot right now so it is unlikely that you would be hired. I say this because they have hundreds of pilots that are furloughed right now and probably at least as many furloughed flight attendants. Those furloughed people will have priority over you.

One website that I used, called airlineapps.com, will allow you to submit one application/resume, and it will be submitted to all of the airlines of your choosing that they represent. They charge for this service but it is extremely convenient and in my case, allowed me to apply for 7 different airlines all at once. They do this for pilots (I am a pilot searching for an airline job), however, I'm not sure whether or not they do this for flight attendants. Check that website out and good luck.

Just go to their website. Then navigate through it until you find available jobs. You can also try www.jsfirm.com. I have used this site extensively, as I am a licensed aircraft mechanic. They can place you anywhere you want to go!
