i love the mageritas in rome, thin, crisp and nothing like at home.
Why do we get such disgusting pizza's here?

I love Dominoes but the food in Italy is the best in the world especially the pizza and ice cream. Seriously I was there for eight days and I never stopped eating. I probably spent more time eating than actually sightseeing...

Pizza in Rome is fabtastic !!! I dunno where one of the previous people went to eat in Rome but I'd imagine it was some tourist trap in a busy area !!!!
There is no comparison between Dominos and authentic Italian pizza because they are made for completely different people for a start.
Pizzas in Italy are made for Italian people who are just a tad more discerning about what is on their plate than lazy sofa dwelling TV heads who'd much rather eat a stodgy lump of dough with processed toppings than get of their fat bums and cook a decent bit of grub.
Making lovely authentic pizzas is easy and can be made at home with little fuss and using fresh ingredients so come on lardy TV heads get in that kitchen and make some use of it :-)
JC - English cusine is fantastic you've obviously not tried enough of it and been suckered into the myth, poor you I say !!

I love domino’s pizza if I could afford to eat them five nights a week then I would! The garlic and herb crust dip is great too.
I have never tried a proper Italian pizza if I had I might have a different opinion.

Dominoes is a US style pizza. There are some really good ones in the UK. I am about to go downstairs and cook a McCain "Pizza "Delicia" They are available from most supermarkets. I buy the Margareta ones and add my own toppings. They are very nice, thin and crispy. Just like Italian pizza.....well nearly.

Dominos Pizzas are so nice, but proper pizzas in Italy are the best. Everything is so fresh and just tastes amazing!

That is because Dominos, Pizza Hut etc make American style pizza which is a totally different thing to Italian style pizza!

Depending upon the taste of the communities, I love domino pizza. There are spices that some people do not want and others loved it so much.

Any native food or drink, tastes better from its place of origin. Guinness is at it's best in Ireland, Cornish Pasties in Cornwall, and Pizza in Italy. Incidentally fish and chips tastes best when eaten from the newspaper while walking down Blackpool promenade during the Illuminations !!

me too, i agree. but do not fear youo can get lovely pizzas here too, you just have to avoid pizza hut, dominos, etc as they are all awful and look for a good italian restaurant . there are many around london and they deliver too. flat base is obviously what you want. although not the best... pizza express and ask pizzas are not that bad!!

Dennis - I don't know where you are from, but everything is better than Dominos, Little caesars, Pizza Hut etc. Order your pizza from a private pizzaria from now on and be happier.
