In my opinion religious dogmatism qualifies as stupidity.

Neither annoy me. I have been guilty of both in my life, and I am not arrogant enough to say that I am enlightened in either category.

So these "classifications" are perhaps a challenge when dealing with others, but I am someone who believes and yet I know I was given the gift of brain for a reason. I need to understand based on knowledge and faith. I need to work on both.

Dogma--sometimes people are indoctrinated so well it's hard to discern it from truth. It's a challenge. Cut people some slack.

Adherence to religious dogma-people can be stupid without being immoral but only people who are stupid and morally degenerate would make a choice to immerse themselves in meaningless dogma.

stupidity as he who knows what he knows and he who knows what he does not know id typical of one who knows. the more one knows the more one finds out they don't know because no one can ever know everything about anything. gaining of wisdom and knowledge while on this plane of existence and sharing this knowledge and wisdom is what life is all about
