You are asking the wrong question here.

The products themselves do have additional friendly bacteria that given the right environment can assist the digestive process.

The main problem is getting them to the lower digestive system unmolested !!! The passage to get there is lined with many acids/fluids/food debris and other bodily waste - that its any wonder once they reach the lower digestive tract that there are capable of doing you any good.

The principle is fine - and in reality the number of people who nowadays swear by them then you can presume some benefits occur. But whether the are as good as claimed is down to individual circumstances.

Hope this helps

Yes, it tops up the good bacteria that occur naturally in your system. And it helps keep the bad ones at bay.

People with IBS may have an intolerance to lactose in milk though so Pro-Prebiotic tablets may be better for some people.

Also, if you have a yeast overgrowth or other digestive problem it may take a while to see any results.

Not as such. I believe that there was some sort of test done which was shown on TV, on so-called probiotic drinks and there was nothing found different in the to regular yogurt.

they will only work if you eat more healthy bugs but if you eat to much cr*p they will feed your bad bugs. your stomach acid does kill some of them off thats why you have to eat healthier. but other wise yes what they claim is right to some degree.
