anything that sends or recieves a signal (radios, GPS's etc) are not allowed on the airplane, you can take an MP3 player onboard a plane now.. you were able to even before these liquid restrictions that airports have placed on travellers (not sure if they are still in effect)

Carrying an MP3 onboard is no problem. Electronic devices are allowed to be used in airplanes as long they don't cerate any interference. Devices like cellphones and walkie-talkies etc. are probithed to be used in airplanes as they cause to much interference with the aiplanes controls.

i imagine maximum airways enable them - you'll only prefer to close it off in the course of the first and extremely last 10 min. of the flight. And in the adventure that they allow you to recognize they don't look to be allowed, it really is not any longer a tremendous loss - only have a again-up plan to keep you occupied on the flight.
