Their apperance is very decieving, and they are portrayed as "Ballerina's" of the sea. I would call this an "oxy-moron" of sorts!

LOL! Great answers so far! But what I actually mean is...Do you find them as "adorable" as I do? And if so, (meaning they were docile) would you want/care to swim amongst them?

No way in the world. Hippos are very dangerous and kill more men in Africa, than elephants or rhinos. They can, with one bite, cut a human in half.
Plus, they swim in some really foul water. Lots of solid and liquid waste from the hippos themselves.

You could swim with a Hippos just like a Dolphin, but you will only do it once, as the Hippo will likely bite your head off

More than likely Hippos will try to kill you if you come anywhere near them they are quite powerful and you taste great with some fish

Have you seen the water hippos swim in? Pretty gross.
